I think I might need a relaxation tape or something to help me fall asleep at night. I'll be tired and want to sleep, and then I lay down and my mind starts racing. Any suggestions?

| Random thought: It's December, people on my friends list thingy are showing pictures of snow, and I've got the frickin' A/C running. WTF? I wish I could figure out a way to cool our bedroom without cooling the rest of the apartment. *sigh* Oh well.

| I was getting ads from CVS and Walgreens that said you could transfer a prescription to them and get X amount of a gift card or money back or whatever, usually around $25.
Are any places (other than CVS, that's where my Rx is currently) still offering specials if you transfer your prescription to them? and where could I find these places? | | comments: Leave a comment |

| I hear Graycie barking on the patio, so I go to let her back in the apartment. I peak through the blinds to see what she's doing, and she's bouncing at the bars/mesh like she's on a pogo stick. I open the door, which usually gets her complete attention, but she persisted in bouncing like a nut. I look out and there's a cat laying about 6 feet from our patio. When I glare at it and make an annoyed sigh/huff sound, it scampers off.

To those not in Dallas . . . Your local shelter might need newspapers too. It's worth checking out :-)
The McKinney SPCA is in need of newspapers. They use them for lining cages and kennels. There are more details at the post at http://community.livejournal.com/dfwtx/842498.html . If you don't want to drop them off at the facility, you could drop them off at my apartment, or I could come pick them up from you. | My face is breaking out like crazy. Ugh. I wonder if wearing a paper bag over my head would help me feel better. Hmmm. Nah, probably not; it'd probably just cause more attention. Blech.

| ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) cottonmanifesto's state (MA) is working on legislation to ban pit bulls. (There's a hearing at the state house on 5/14 that she's planning to attend.) She has two wonderful pit bulls, and is understandably concerned.
There is a little survey attached to the article at http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news/13248866/detail.html about whether or not you think pit bulls should be banned in Massachusetts. | Lame. I wish I could have the time back that I spent taking this stupid quiz thing b/c it was pretty long. Most of it is right but I'm not quite sure how they define "adventurious", I'm curious to know the % match for the other political thingies, and the travel experience part is probably off. Oh well. At least the results are somewhat interesting.
